Mid Offaly Housing Association

Our Visitors

Johnny Butterfield, the vice chairman, kindly came into our school to tell us about Ard Aoibhinn and Gleann Ard. We asked him lots of questions. We asked questions like who came up with the idea? Was every body happy with this idea? How long did it take to get planning permission? Others asked about the ideas, careers and the committee. Johnny Butterfield gave us full answers to our questions and he offered to give us a tour of Ard Aoibhinn and we went there a few weeks later.

Ronnie Bryant, the treasurer, came in to tell us more about Ard Aoibhinn. He told us about how they use the community hall and what activities they do. He told us about the co-op movement in Ireland. He also told us about the Donaghmore Co-op and how they started off. We were all very interested and he was very kind and answered all of the questions we asked.
